"Volunteering England was formed in April 2004 following a merger between The Consortium on Opportunities for Volunteering, The National Centre for Volunteering and Volunteer Development England. On 1 July 2007 Volunteering England formally merged with Student Volunteering England... We receive grants from the Office for Civil Society (part of the Cabinet Office) and from the Department of Health. Major corporate supporters include PriceWaterhouseCoopers. We are also supported by charitable foundations." [1]
