Biographical Information
"Ambassador Steward represented South Africa as Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations during the transition to democracy under President Mandela. He was Ambassador to Italy and also served in the Middle East. He was also Chief Director: East and West Europe and International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Steward is a Member of the Board, (US) National Child Labor Committee. He is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and holds a B.Comm. degree from University of Witwatersrand. "[1]
