- Step 1: Use D'd search function to check that the new name is not an already existing file.
- Step 2: Have the page you want to rename on screen (but not open in editing mode). Go over to the left hand column and click on 'Move this page'. Type in new name (check spelling before completing) ... and then its done. Move creates the new page, leaves the old name as a redirect and transfers the edit history to the new address. cheers --Bob Burton 22:44, 29 Aug 2004 (EDT)
