Hi Bob Burton & Maynard,

This being a Disinformation site, how does one go about exposing false information regarding God, as I intended to do? Any references to me, I agree should be deleted but to delete the entire Transcendentalism's exposing religious misperceptions? Bias or religious conditioning maybe? Please don't be offended by my remarks, I accept your decisions - just my 2 cents worth. Kkawohl

Hi Kurt,
I'll respond to your question here rather than on "my page" ;-}

Religion, and 'God' by any name, as much as I personally love them both, are perhaps the most improbable topics about which any kind of consensus can be formed. In other words, there will always be a significant population who rightly regards ANY definition of "God" as incorrect or incomplete or even irrelevant because there isn't one.

That said, point could be made that ANY description or discussion of 'God' would be considered disinformation; and of course this site favors the illumination and explication of disinformation; so not only ANY reference would qualify, ALL references would qualify, including any article on the topic. At that point the debate becomes theological or philosophical; no part of it is more misleading than any other part of it. "Disinformation" needs to be something other than a different opinion.

So please don't take it personally.

The transcendental stuff on the other hand, is wrapped in different cloths of relevance and self-promotion which aren't as easy to understand.

Hi --Maynard,

Is it theological or philosophical or disinformation?

When in this 21st Century, the Age of Technology, we are still plagued by religious beliefs that are the contributing cause toward terrorism, killings and wars between nations, it is due to disinformation.

When belief in a deity who caused catastrophes, punished people and created the universe out of nothingness as if by magic, it is due to disinformation.

When the attributes of human characteristics to exercise upon others power, control, dominance, destruction, punishment, revenge, judgment are blamed on a deity, it is due to disinformation.

When the destruction of civilizations, most sufferings and premature deaths that are due to human frailties, stupidity or imperfections are blamed on a deity's doings, it is due to disinformation.

When one represents that the deity that mankind calls by several names exists in a spiritual realm and never has and never will interfere with anything on earth or in the universe, this is verifyable scientific truth and NOT due to disinformation.

Transcendentalism is a system of philosophy emphasizing the intuitive and spiritual above the empirical and material.
