Well, we try to emphasize the sourcing here rather than the author as a measure of accuracy. The pertinent standards here are: fair and accurate; fully sourced. As such, could you identify any parts of the current Bunce profile you still have problems with vis a vis those standards? Is the language unfair or inaccurate? Is there a source provided for the allegation? (Conversely, the best way to preserve your own edits are to make sure they fit those same standards.)
