My name is Michelle DuQuette and I am a summer intern helping out with Congresspedia and Sunlight Networks.

I am a senior at Eckerd College, in Saint Petersburg, Florida, majoring in International Relations and Global Affairs and French. Aside from soaking up the Florida sun and going to the beach, I am also part of the Eckerd Student Government Association, work as a peer Communication Consultant at the Communication Center on campus, and am a Ford Scholar.

In high school, interned for Senator Chuck Hagel, (R-NE)so I'm very excited to gain some experience on the other side of the spectrum. Additionally, last summer I worked for the Galapagos Conservancy in Falls Church, Virginia as a development intern working on their website and attempting to increase awareness of the issues affecting the islands off of Ecuador.

As an International Relations major, my interests are in issues of Global Development, Nuclear Proliferation/Arms Control, and the general Balance of Power between states.
