The Johnson Center for Child Health and Development (formerly known as Thoughtful House Center for Children or simply Thoughtful House) is an Austin, Texas-based organization promoting anti-vaccination conspiracy theories and medically unsupported cures for autism. It was founded in 2005 by a group including discredited researcher Andrew Wakefield. wiki

"In 2004, a group of parents and professionals gathered to consider the growing needs of the developmental disorder community. Over time, a multi-disciplinary center called Thoughtful House was established to address the needs seen as the most pressing for those with developmental disorders: appropriate healthcare, diagnostic, behavioral, and education services; community outreach and support; and research. In 2011, the organization was renamed in honor of Betty Wold Johnson, in recognition of her ongoing generous support of this community." [1]

Laura Hewitson, PhD is the Director of Research for The Johnson Center for Child Health and Development.
