Thomas W. Tusher "of Crystal Bay, Nevada, owns Blanket Bay Lodge in Glenorchy, New Zealand and the Amisfield Wine Company, also in New Zealand. He retired in 1997 as president and chief operating officer of Levi Strauss & Company. He joined the company in 1969 and held senior management positions in Australia, Europe, and the United States. He was president of Levi Strauss International from 1976 until his appointment as chief operating officer in 1984. Mr. Tusher was with Colgate Palmolive from 1965 to 1969. He is currently a director of AMB Property Corporation, and a member of the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame Committee. He is also chairman emeritus of the Haas School of Business advisory board. He is a former director of the Great Western Financial Corporation, Cakebread Cellars, Pearl Izumi, the Stanford Graduate School of Business Advisory Council, and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Tusher received a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University." [1]
