Biographical Information

"Tom Hast first met Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche the summer of 1972 and moved to Boulder to help start Marpa House and study full-time with the Vidyadhara in 1973. He was one of the initial administrators of Naropa University and also helped reorganize and run Shambhala Training once upon a time. During the past 30 years, he served as Chairman of the Board of CDR Associates which does mediation training and dispute resolution all over the world, and was a founder and Board member of The Friends School, The Colorado Movement for Children, and the Boulder Jewish Community Foundation. He is the President of Hast & Company, a professional property management company in Boulder, Colorado and is currently on the Boards of Naropa University and of the Yesod Foundation which he started 16 years ago to support the work of Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi."
