I see that some spurious information has apparently been removed from this article. I don't know anything about the background of this, but rather than simply deleting the spurious information, perhaps it would be a good idea to refer to it along with the retraction and any necessary clarification/explanation. Stories like this have a way of circulating long after they've been debunked, and one of the services that SourceWatch can provide is setting the record straight. --Sheldon Rampton 23:24, 15 Dec 2004 (EST)

Yes was just about to when I got distracted by a ph call. Cheers --Bob Burton 23:26, 15 Dec 2004 (EST)

An earlier version of the article included a citation to a December 2002 article by Michel Chossudovsky and published by Global Research "New Chairman of 9/11 Commission had business ties with Osama's Brother in Law". In June 2004 Chossudovsky and Global Research acknowledged that the original material they relied on had been withdrawn and was in error in that the individual was not related to bin Laden. An apology has replaced their original article and can be found at http://globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO212A.html. Accordingly I have removed the citation from the article page.--Bob Burton 23:40, 15 Dec 2004 (EST)
