Edit note

I removed the following unreferenced material from the article page.--Bob Burton 20:00, 20 July 2008 (EDT)

includes opinions about obesity-related concerns, namely: obesity is not an epidemic, bariatric surgery does more harm than good, diets are ineffective, processed foods and refined sugars do not have a negative effect on one's diet, and that the public pressure to push children and adults to be less sedentary is unnecessary.

Individual scientific studies are often cited to support articles in her blog, and many of her blog posts center around the results of a specific study of interest to her positions.

The blog is generally well received by many blogs within the fat acceptance movement and sizeism debate.

This material was speculative rather than based on hard sources.--Bob Burton 20:15, 20 July 2008 (EDT)

edit notes

  • I removed "The Land of Light--New Mexico's Culinary Heritage Preserved in Contemporary Recipes." from the books list - it seems that while this was flagged in several bio notes as a forthcoming title it was never published.
