Edit Notes

I have relocated this section here for the moment. I followed the link from the Moonbat blog but there is nothing obvious about 9/11 - though the blog post does mention message boards, so maybe the material was on them. If it was, it is a little hard to characterise that as the view of Repent America itself. I guess what I was looking for was the primary source material that the Moonbat blog was referring to. Am I missing something? --Bob Burton 21:49, 10 May 2007 (EDT)

'9/11 Bush Knew' Conspiracy Theories

Andrew Walden of the Moonbat Central Blog wrote September 1, 2005, that a Google Search for "9-11 site:www.repentamerica.com" found postings by Repent America "loaded with '9-11 Bush Knew' conspiracy theories."

"So they believe that 9-11 (and Katrina) are God’s Vengeance on America–exactly as al-Qaeda says," Walden wrote. "So they believe that 'Bush knew' exactly as al-Qaeda’s apologists say.

"They believe America must 'Repent' to deliver itself from these troubles (rather than taking the war to the enemy), exactly as al-Qaeda and its apologists say.

"So what is the real difference between them and the left-wing MoonBats? There is none," Walden wrote.

Edit Notes 2

  • I deleted the tag "fundamentalist" off both this article page and that of Michale Marcavage. He disagreed with the classification and emphasised it wasn't a self-description. In the absence of a definition and rather than spend time arguing the toss, I've deleted it. Apart from which, I think people reading the page content of following the links will have enough information to make up their own minds.
  • I also deleted the Army of God section. I deleted it yesterday from the Marcavage page and explaied why here under the "Edit Notes" sub-head. --Bob Burton 00:44, 19 May 2007 (EDT)
