Jose Sorzano is a Cuban-American right-wing ideologue. He was professor on international relations at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University for many years, but alternated with positions in the National Security Council. During the late 1980s he specialized in attacking Nicaragua's Sandinistas, and often toured US campuses putting forth the Reagan doctrine. Just like Jeane J. Kirkpatrick, his colleague at Georgetown, Sorzano sneared at anyone suggesting that human rights should form the basis for US foreign policy.
