I would not say that the Ad Council is necessarily "liberal."
They are a wonderful organization that helps millions of americans!

I have deleted a couple of bits from the article page --Bob Burton 16:22, 4 October 2007 (EDT):

- I couldn't find a ref for this. Maybe its buried in the Ad Council's Archives page somewhere but I'm about out of time right now
- "According to documents from the Council's archives, the group aimed to enhance public opinion of and co-opt liberal opposition to advertising by using it to promote liberal and popular causes."
