Are there any other top Pentagon or Israeli cabinet figures who use religious rhetoric to justify military actions?
Olivier Roy believes that the holy war is actually from the Judeo-Christian side, and that the Muslims are just engaged in plain old anti-colonial struggles, using Islamic imagery as a recruiting aid. Maybe he's right.
