Karl Rove may be the "mouth" and "political strategizer," as well as wizard of dirty tricks, but Stephen Goldsmith puts forth the philosophy .... beware of Bush's compassionate conservatism ... it seems to be all tied up in the trappings of privatization. Goldsmith clearly has his feet firmly planted in all camps .. think tanks, private enterprise, and Faith-based and Community Initiatives ... hedging all his bets. Is this anything new?
