One could write a whole encyclopedia of propaganda about this regime's techniques alone.

There should be articles on the USSR and McCarthyism and France 1968, to demonstrate how these same issues and methods played out in other cultures. It's pretty damn hard to avoid at least some sketchy history of the regimes that gave us most of today's modern advertising techniques!

We might also adopt a title standard like USSR under Stalin, China under Mao, Cambodia under Pol Pot, or based on dates, like USSR 1945-1953, China 1949-1979, to make it a lot easier to see the chronology. This needs some discussion. See SourceWatch:dates
