i was about to comment that i thought this was spam. the same post was placed twice on the PR Watch Board.
on top of that, the ip listed for the poster, 24.45.22.131, resolves to a NY cable internet service, which brags about its tristate coverage. i doubt that Tennessee is on of those three states. It looked bogus to me also. I'll notify Sheldon through the spam notice function on the PR Watch Board also.

Explanation on revert
User:Niteshift36 added the statement re the PTC retraction that "The apology was posted on the PTC website for a period of six months as part of the settlement agreement."
I have reverted this as it was unreferenced and I can't find any evidence to support the statement. In particular:

There is no evidence of the retraction being posted to the website that I can see in either of those two versions of the PTC website, both of which were within the six month period. - It wasn't easy. I KNEW I was correct. Most news sources simply had no references still available. I found a ton of blogs that still had their discussions from back then available. So I hit the Proquest database and found a proper news source.
The Post and Courier. Charleston, S.C.: Jul 7, 2002. pg. 12 by Mike Mooneyham. The article says "The Parents Television Council and the WWE reached an out-of- court settlement regarding WWE's lawsuit against PTC for libel and slander. PTC must pay $3.5 million in damages to WWE and must keep a retraction statement on its Web site for six months.
PTC honcho L. Brent Bozell III was forced to issue a lengthy apology to the WWE last week on the PTC's Web site regarding statements made by his watchdog group placing the blame of the Lionel Tate murder case in Florida on professional wrestling and the WWE. He also apologized for statements made in regard to WWE losing sponsors. A carbon copy was sent to Vince and Linda McMahon.". Putting the info back.Niteshift36 01:26, 26 December 2007 (EST)
