Talk:Nic Careem
Edit Notes
I reverted the changes made by User "Maldives". In several places changes were made to quotes that were not in the original reference material. The other material (parked below for the moment) on Careem I'll have a look at and merge in where supported by references. (I have parked it here because the revert function used to undo the misleading changes referred to above doesn't allow only a partial revert. --Bob Burton 07:35, 13 September 2007 (EDT)
Taking the world famous Anne Frank exhibition into British prisons was also the brainchild of careem as was the famous Anne Frank Declaration signed by world leaders including Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton to name a few. The Declaration is now used in thousands of schools as part of anti-hate education according to Careem. The play has been shown by Careem at the House of Commons and twice hosted by the Mayor of London at City Hall. Some of Britains most senior politicians and Muslim and Jewish leaders have seen the play as have senior police and community leaders. Careem is currently producing Make hate history - a major international campaign with thousands of schools performing the play at exactly the same moment or day to remember the victims of the Holocuast, other genocides and the African slave industry.
