Talk:Neo-conservative External Links
This Jim Lobe article -- Family ties connect US right, Zionists (March 9, 2003) -- brings to bear a long-proven theory of mine ... well, one of them, at least: Check to see who (which neo-con) is sleeping with whom (other neo-con), literally. The other theory is equally true: Follow the money.

I have started a tidy on the various links as a prelude to reviewing the main article page. Removed the following from the 1990 section (brief note follows the ref)
- Neo-Conservative Ascendancy in the George W. Bush Administration, philosophynotes.com. - Link no longer works
- Chris Holt, Some major myths at the root of neoconservativism, January 9, 1995. I don't see that is really adds anything and despite the title is a bit off topic
- Carlo DiNota, "Those Savvy Neo-Cons: Hardly Conservative," The Chalcedon Foundation, January 1998, critiques the neo-cons from a fundamentalist Christian perspective. - couldn't find that on the site - link no longer works

02 references
- deleted dupe of Lobe article (dif title, same article)
- removed a couple of articles that while passingly mentioning necons are more relevant elsewhere

Start tidy of 03 section
- John S. Lemberger, "The Speech George W. Bush Doesn't Want You to Hear", A Second Opinion, V2:1 (January 2003). I donlt see that this adds much
- John Sfakianakis, "Black Gold", Global Policy/Al-Ahram Weekly, January 23-29, 2003. While this passingly refers to neocons it is about oil policy.
- Aaron Hicklin, "Chickenhawk Bush on dodgy ground. Those who served and suffered find strange bedfellows in Iraq protest", The Herald, January 27, 2003. Dead link

Further 03 changes
- Brian Dunaway, "A Lose-Lose Prospect", LewRockwell.com, February 15, 2003. Off topic
- Laszlo Nagy, 1993 as the year when the Neoconservative Age was supposed to have ended. 1995 as the year that confirmed that it had entered its Second Decade of Existence, Black Flag (Dissociated Press), March 2003. Really don't think this adds much.
- Robert Dreyfuss, The Thirty-Year Itch, Mother Jones, March/April 2003. "Three decades ago, in the throes of the energy crisis, Washington's hawks conceived of a strategy for US control of the Persian Gulf's oil. Now, with the same strategists firmly in control of the White House, the Bush administration is playing out their script for global dominance." While an interesting article it is a bit peripheral to an article on neoconservatism.

Ok that's the first trawl through.
- I have removed most of the articles that have dead links (there's a few Lobe articles I'll have a look and see if I get alternative locations or updated links for).
- Where the links remained valid but the article really only mentions neocons in passing or where I thought it didn't add much new I have removed it to cut the links list down to something that's tighter and more on topic. I'll see if I can finish finding new links for some and hunt for any additional books before the end of the day.
