Landcare
On International Power Australia's website they state that "As well as operating to stringent environmental standards, the power station also administers a corporate Landcare program. Since the program began in 1997 approximately 650,000 trees, shrubs and native grasses have been planted. The program was awarded the “Judges Encouragement Award” in the 2004 Prime Minister’s Encouragement Awards for Excellence in Community and Business Partnerships."[1]
