Anne,

Thank you again for your assistance.

As I explained over the phone, the correct information is:

"Jonathan Fantini Porter is Policy Director to U.S. Representative Joseph Sestak.

While enrolled at Georgetown University, he was President of the Collegiate Forum and Editor of its publication, The Podium." All other information is not correct, including:

- "founded the Roosevelt Institution, which describes itself as a student think tank."

- "founded the American Policy Journal."

- "In June 2007, at 24, Fantini-Porter represented the United States at the Russian-Euro Atlantic Conference in Moscow while a student at Harvard University."

- "In 2003 Fantini Porter co-founded and was a partner in Denison & Porter, an investment company."

(Note from Jonathan Porter, April 9, 2010, 11:30 AM MDT)

Editor's Note: Deleted the following external links, which apparently referenced the wrong person:

Pasting disputed information, reportedly incorrect in press releases, per Jonathan Porter:

Porter founded the American Policy Journal. In June 2007, at 24, Fantini-Porter represented the United States at the Russian-Euro Atlantic Conference in Moscow while pursuing graduate studies at Harvard University.[1]

In 2003 Fantini Porter co-founded and was a partner in Denison & Porter, an investment company.[2]

Dear Mr. Porter,

I have received your request to update your profile on SourceWatch. We sincerely apologize for the problems caused by inaccuracies in your profile. We do try and maintain strict referencing standards on SourceWatch, but as a wiki (user-contributed database), it is always a work in progress.

There are several ways to update the page: 1) You can create an account on SourceWatch and update/correct the information yourself, or 2) we can do it for you, if you tell us specifically what is incorrect (so we can remove it), and provide authoritative references for any additional information.

While we discourage people from creating pages on themselves, we do allow people to edit pages on themselves, within reason, as long as the information is backed up with suitable references.

Thank you for contacting us and bringing the errors to our attention.

Anne

I removed the following par from the article page -- it was supported by a dead link. The Denison & Porter page is not in the Internet archive but it would perhaps be worth checking open secrets but I'm out of time right now.--Bob Burton 20:06, 30 October 2008 (EDT)
