I have replaced the earlier SourceWatch artcile with a rewritten version that merges the previous article with the Wikipedia article and added other material. I realise this will make it hard to track changes -- apologies but couldnlt see any easy way around that esp given problems I have been having with my broadband connection today.I have tried to delete all duplicated material and re-order it all.
The article still needs some work -- the quote from In These Times needs completing and there were various newspaper articles (NYT, LA Times, Baltimore Sun investigation, The Economist etc) referred to in the Wikipedia article that weren't referenced. Unfortunately connection problems this end mean I can't do any more on it just now -- thanks Bob
I'll suggest that the article would probably read better if the Honduras material were removed to an article of its own, which could be developed in depth and referenced from elsewhere, leaving this article with a highlight of and a reference to this important feature of JN's background. --Maynard 09:21, 21 Apr 2004 (EDT)

Article would be complete in telling us that John is Jewish.Being Greek and rich does not indicate his hatred for arabs and part of the Neo-cons.If the reader was exposed that he was Jewish, it would make sense. What is the origin of his name? Seems that rarely any reporter wants to expose the fact that most of the UN ambassadors from U.S. have been Jewish.I find it disturbing. How can such greedy group have such power in america and represent us at the UN and feel no shame in voting on Palestinian issues.
