Whether the information in these two links can be included in an article on JJ or not, I am putting the links here in the discussion page:

The reason I do this is because this individual has been alledged by many Iranian opposition circles of being one amongst many of the US based front spokespersons for the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Hi Wahid, I've come across this person in some research before. There seems to be a strong pro-Baha'i presence on the Iranian blog he is connected to. Do you know anything more about his connections to the Baha'i organisation? I had a look at the two sites you listed above- perhaps gathering/presenting some more sources/information regarding the circumstances in which they were produced, and by whom, would be good?

Hi Atomised, if you look at the second link I provided above it asserts that his present wife is a Baha'i. I guess one can call this a pretty close connection. Yes, indeed, his website iranian.com does act as a sometimes uncritical cheerleading platform for Bahai propaganda. And contrary to the claimed mission statement of the site that nothing is sacred, blog posts and comments are regularly censored over there. However I think his former connection to the news agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the more notable issue here. Those connections are indubious since he himself prominently cites them on his CV posted to the site. --Wahid 09:30, 18 March 2009 (EDT)

Was/is there more of an issue of regime influence over any of these than the others, or is that not applicable?

Hi again, yes, those ones. Note as well that the Aftab Cable Television network that he was involved with was exposed by the Iranian opposition in Europe and North America early in the 1990s as being funded as a primarily propaganda stunt directed at Iranians abroad by the government of the Islamic Republic under the then presidency of Hashemi Rafsanjani. Also note that the Tehran Times is a state funded publication.
