I removed the personal bio info on the groups personnel which had just been copied across from Wikipedia. That information is more appropriate for their own pages.

[edit] Criticism HonestReporting has been criticised over its aggressive approach to media reports. In September 2006, HonestReporting issued a critique of the South African newspaper, the Mail & Guardian, for publishing an opinion article by a South African government minister that was critical of Israel. HonestReporting took issue [3] with contents of the article and encouraged its' readers to write to the newspaper. The Mail & Guardian received what it called a "barrage of hysterical invective" full of "bigotry and anti-democratic instincts".
HonestReporting has been criticized by the Guardian as a "pro-Israeli lobby".[1]

Research Initiative
Hey ya'll. Just found out about sourcewatch a little while ago and have been perusing the site on and off. Been thinking about this site a lot recently and was wondering if anyone would like to participate in a kind of 'group research effort' to dig deeper into who HonestReporting is and where they get their money from, who they're connected to, etc. I've done research like this before, but mostly informally or for reports that had a different tone. I'd love to engage in something like this that's explicitly about making them transparent to the public. But I would need help of course.
I think it could be really fun and an interesting learning experience, esp. if there are more experienced members of sourcewatch on board. What do ya'll think? Parkbench 21:06, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
