The Health Benefits Coalition, which in 1998 "vehemently opposed" the Patients' Bill of Rights Act, said that "such requirements would increase costs and reduce the number of people with coverage.
"The coalition began its lobbying and advertising campaign on Jan. 21, [1998] the day of the first news reports about" President Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky. [1]
How convenient, eh? Any connections between Lewinsky and the health industry? Suzanne C. DeFrancis? the Coalition? Porter Novelli? Just asking .... :-) Artificial Intelligence 07:30, 16 Oct 2005 (EDT)
