First of all, where is the impropriety here? Whose fault is it that this system works--i.e. whose idea was campaign finance reform? Of course, the law of unintended consequences never fazed those who have a deep-rooted faith in the power of legislation to solve all problems.

Secondly, the implication seems to be that Democrats don't get funds from corporations, the wealthy, etc. Who, then, are Viacom, George Soros, and indeed Kerry, who, if elected, will be the riched President ever?
