Talk:A.N.S.W.E.R.
Here's to hoping that contributors to this topic can start referencing some facts; and identify the disputes; and more directly relate this content to the SourceWatch themes. --Maynard 18:39, 9 Dec 2004 (EST)
The unfortunate thing about trying to document ANSWER's abuses (and by connection the WWP and ISO) are hard, considering the transitory nature of most anarchist media websites, where most of the criticism centers. While I've had no personal experience with the group, a number of activist friends of mine have, and have nothing but bad things to say about their authoritarian management and structure. That is the general strain amongst activists, though its hard to pinpoint where its documented, since sectarian disputes are hardly the coverage of mainstream news, and often times contradictory statements abound amongst the various independent media groups.

- "War Is Not The Answer - And Neither is ANSWER," infoshop.org ("your online anarchist community"). The phrase "War is not the answer - and neither is ANSWER", according to infoshop, was a "popular chant during October 26 anti-war march in Washington, DC." [1]
- A.N.S.W.E.R's response to Red-baiting from International Answer.org.

- Despite such criticism ANSWER continues to attempt to speak for all groups in the anti-war movement, often times making press releases without the input of others, or taking up exceedingly large chunks of time at press conferences (at a recent conference for the 2005 Counter Inaugural Protests, other groups spoke for 1 to 2 minutes, while an ANSWER affiliated organization spoke for nearly 25).
