Stuart T. Saunders, Jr.
Stuart T. Saunders, Jr. "a retired partner with Dechert, Price & Rhodes, concentrating in financial institutions and general corporate law. He was also an executive vice president at CoreStates Bank and chair of Vestaur Securities, Inc., a closed-end, NYSE-listed mutual fund. Before the merger of CoreStates and First Pennsylvania Bank in March 1990, Stuart had been head of First Pennsylvania's Trust and Investment Practice Group since 1985, and from 1982 to 1985, he was an executive vice president and general counsel at First Pennsylvania. He received his J.D. from The University of Virginia School of Law." [1]
In 1967 Stuart T. Saunders, Jr. was "named chairman of the African Wildlife Foundation, the largest international conservation organization working solely in Africa. Prior to becoming chairman, he served on the foundation's board of trustees for eight years. He is a partner with Dechert Price & Rhoads of Philadelphia." [2]
