In October 2005, '''Paul Bonicelli''' was appointed deputy director of the [[United States Agency for International Development]] (USAID), where he oversees the agency's programs that promote democracy and good governance internationally. Bonicelli's prior job was dean of academic affairs at [[Patrick Henry College]], a Christian fundamentalist institutions which requires students to sign 10-part "statement of faith" declaring, among other things, that non-Christians will be condemned to hell.
