International Chinese coal projects

===Port Qasim SSRL power station===
According to a July 2014 report, Dong Fang Electric Corporation (DEC) would set up two coal plants with a capacity of 220 MW each at Port Qasim, Karachi. Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah welcomed DEC for signing the accord with J-Energy/SSRL and offered administrative support and attractive incentives. In February 2016, Huaneng Shandong Power, a subsidiary of [[China Huaneng Group]], signed an agreement with the Punjab provincial government to build the Rahim Yar Khan plant.
