The '''Institute for Regulatory Policy''' was an in 1991 founded operating subunit of [[Federal Focus]]. It was a front group created by the [[tobacco industry]] to support its version of "sound science" in environmental and public health policy. In addition to tobacco, IRP has worked on issues including radon, chlorinated water and electromagnetic fields.
