Perhaps, when US officials repeatedly say that Iraq has not yet descended into civil war, despite recurring factional violence, what they mean is that the Salvador Option remains manageable and functional as a tool for controlling the insurgency (?).
Finally, I didn't put the content of this page into [[War in Iraq]] because that page has a quite a bit of polemic opinion that I think belongs on Talk pages. Please keep --[[User:Brianhill|Brian Hill]] Yikes. I didn't put it with [[Civil War war in Iraq]] factual because I overlooked the same article title with different case.
