Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP (SASMF) is a law firm that primarily represents large corporations. (It is also known less formally as Skadden, Arps).

It was founded in 1948 and is one of the largest corporate law firms in the US.

SASMF boasts that it has "approximately 1,750 lawyers, located in 21 offices around the world and practicing in more than 40 distinct areas of law and industry specializations". [1]

The company helped organize a $400 million rescue package in 1996 that saved CIA-linked Evergreen International Aviation, Inc. from bankruptcy.[2]
