Martin Laing

Biography

"Sir Martin Laing was educated at St Lawrence College, Ramsgate and Emmanuel College, Cambridge, where he read Estate Management. Former Chairman of John Laing plc and British Overseas Trade Board, currently Non Executive Director of Eskmuir Properties Ltd, an Adviser to RP&C International Ltd and President of the Institute of Export. He played a leading role within the UK's construction industry for many years and has a keen interest in sustainable development and the environment. He was until recently a member of the Board of the Marine Stewardship Council and is Trustee Emeritus of WWF-UK."
