Since then he has directed the development of TalkTalk to become one of the leading telecommunications businesses in the UK. He served as an Interim Chairman of YouView TV Ltd. since March 2013 until October 17, 2013 and serves as its Director. He serves as the Chairman of The Prince's Trust Trading Board. He served as Deputy Chairman of HBOS PLC since January 2003 and its Non Executive Director from September 2001 to February 08, 2012. He serves as a Director of The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC. Sir Dunstone has been a Non Executive Director of Halifax PLC since February 2000. He serves as Non-Executive Director of Independent Media Distribution PLC and Clareville Capital Partners LLP. He served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Daily Mail & General Trust PLC from 2001 to February 8, 2012. He served as a board member of Kudu Fund Limited until May 2007, Mobile Telesystems OJSC since June 24, 2010 and Bank Of Scotland plc until April 29, 2008. He also serves as a member of The Prince's Trust Trading Council." [1]

Dunstone's father is an executive at BP. Dunstone has established a charitable trust, which is the main sponsor of the Fulwood Academy school in Preston, Lancashire.wiki Friends who attended his wedding in 2009 included Tony Blair and Sir Stuart Rose. [2]
