Her Royal Highness Sheikha Sabeeka bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa (Bahrain) "is Head of the Supreme Council for Women, an official body tasked with regulating women’s issues in Bahrain. She seeks to find ways to cooperate with other civil institutions in the work of women and the family. As first lady of Bahrain, she takes an active role in various initiatives to improve the lives of Bahrain families, particularly the poor and needy." [1]
She is married to Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
