WesternGeco, jointly owned with Baker Hughes, is a surface seismic company. SchlumbergerSema is a supplier of information technology consulting, systems integration and network and infrastructure services to the energy industry, as well as to the public sector, telecommunications and finance markets," it states.
"On September 22, 2003, the Company announced its intention to sell the SchlumbergerSema business to Atos Origin. The sale closed on January 29, 2004," the profile states.
