Russell K. Girling

Russell K. Girling was appointed a director of the general partner of TransCanada Pipelines "in April 1999 and Chief Executive Officer of the general partner in June 2006. Mr. Girling's principal occupation is President, Pipelines Division of TransCanada, a position he has held since June 2006. From March 2003 to June 2006, he was Executive Vice-President, Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer of TransCanada. Prior to March 2003, Mr. Girling was Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of TransCanada. Mr. Girling is also a director of Agrium Inc."
