Ronald Max Hartwell is Professorial Fellow of Nuffield College, and Reader in Recent Social and Economic History in the University of Oxford.
He is Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Economic Affairs, on the Advisory Coucil of Civitas, and a recent Mont Pelerin Society president.
