Dr. Robert A. Pastor served as co-chair and a member of the 2005 Council on Foreign Relations' Independent Task Force on the Future of North America.
Pastor is a member of the board of directors of the North American Forum on Integration. He is also Vice President of International Affairs; Director, Center for Democracy and Election Management; Director, Center for North American Studies; and Professor of International Relations at American University. [1]
"From 1977 to 1981, he was Director of Latin American Affairs on the National Security Council. He is the author or editor of sixteen books, including Toward a North American Community: Lessons from the Old World to the New." [2]
