Richard Butler was influential in introducing Christian Identity into neo-nazi circles. A disciple of Wesley Swift, the american progenitor of Christian Identity, Butler took leadership of Swift's church after his death, transplanted it to Idaho, and renamed it as the Aryan Nations.
