R. Stuart Angus
R. Stuart (Tookie) Angus "is presently an independent business advisor to the mining industry. Previously he was Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions for Endeavour Financial and was responsible for merger and acquisition mandates. Prior to joining Endeavour Financial, he was a partner at the Canadian law firm Fasken Martineau DuMoulin and headed that firm's Global Mining Group. For over 30 years, Tookie has focused on significant international exploration, development and mining ventures, and all aspects of their structuring and finance. Tookie is Chair of Tirex Resources Ltd., a founding director of Plutonic Power Ltd. and a director of Ventana Gold Corp. He was a director of First Quantum Minerals Ltd. from inception until June 2005, resigned as a director of Canico Resources Ltd. on completion of a takeover by CVRD and resigned as a director of Bema Gold on completion of a takeover by Kinross. He was also Chair of B.C. Sugar Refinery Ltd. " [1]
