"Richard Joshua Reynolds III, a grandson, namesake and heir to the founder of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., died of emphysema and congestive heart failure June 28 at his home in Pinehurst, N.C." in 1994. "Mr. Reynolds founded the Full Sky Publishing Co. to publish the works of young writers and produced the film "Siddhartha," based on a novel by Herman Hesse. He also founded the Sufi Institute and the Sufi Foundation camp in New Mexico. The foundation based its beliefs on the Muslim movement of Sufism that emerged in the late 10th and early 11th centuries. About 500 of the 5,000 members attend the annual two-month camp." [1]
