Peter L. Wyman
"Peter Wyman is the Chair of the Care Quality Commission. Peter Wyman served as Chair of the Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for five years and has held a range of senior posts in the private, public and voluntary sectors across his career. He was a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and was President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales from 2002 to 2003. He was awarded a CBE in 2006."[1]
Peter was at PwC for 42 years, 32 as a partner. He had a range of roles over this time including being a member of the UK Board. Following his time as Institute President he became responsible for PwC’s Government Relations, Public Policy and Regulatory Matters, first for the UK and the EU and ultimately for PwC globally when he also became a member of the PwC Global Executive. His major charitable role has been as Chairman of Somerset Community Foundation. [1]
