Biographical Information
"Peter Mitchell is BDT’s Director of Education. Peter was a head teacher for 18 years, in Walsall and Staffordshire. His school was twice identified in the Chief Inspector’s report as providing an outstanding education. He was also seconded to be head teacher of a failing school. Peter was a trustee of Edexcel for six years before becoming a founding trustee of Edge, which promotes technical and practical learning. Peter was Edge’s full time Education Director from 2007 before being appointed Interim Chief Executive of Edge, and was the first Chief Executive of the Baker Dearing Educational Trust."[1]
