Biographical Information
"Peter Jones became Chief Executive of Associated British Ports Holdings Ltd in April 2007. He was formerly Chief Executive of Mersey Docks & Harbour Company, having worked in ports and shipping businesses in the UK and Europe since 1977. Mr Jones is also a non-executive director of SKIL Ports & Logistics Ltd, an AIM-listed company involved in the development of a small port in India, at Karanja in close proximity to Mumbai. He has previously served as non-executive director of Through Transport Mutual Insurance and of the United Kingdom Major Ports Group. He has also been a member of the Bank of England's North-West Quarterly Panel." [1]
