Nikola Živanović was born in 1969 in Belgrade. After completing high-school (Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium), he studied International relationships and Economics in France and Malta. Master’s Degree in Quantitative Finance from Imperial College in London. Beginning in mid-90s he worked in investment banking, as trader of bonds and structure products, first in Renaissance Capital in Moscow and then in Bear Stearns in New York and London. He worked in Serbian National Bank as advisor of Governor since 2001 and later as Vice Governor on projects of old foreign-currency thrift re-struction, and establishing Central Registry for papers of values. After leaving administration in 2003, he co-founded M&A Consulting and broker/dealer association Synergy Capital. After Erste Bank acquired Synergy Capital in 2007, he dedicated himself to private equity." [1]
