The Network for Social Change was founded in 1985 and "exists to fund and support projects for positive social and ecological change. Central to the Network's aims are the promotion of social justice and sustainability. With a total grant-making budget of some £1million per year, the Network is a relatively small funding body. Grants usually range from £3,000 to £15,000. We look for leverage - projects where comparatively small sums of money can have the greatest effect. We are often prepared to fund organisations that find it difficult to get funding elsewhere." [1]
