Scoregate is the name suggested by "some" regarding the "controversy over Medicare scoring." Richard S. Foster, "Medicare's top actuary ... recently made headlines by suggesting that the White House may have been involved in keeping his estimates of the new Medicare law under wraps." [1]
Bob Cusack of The Hill, who employoed the designation Scoregate in his earlier report on March 24, 2004, also refers to the "controversy" as Medigate in a follow-up report on March 31, 2004. [2]
